Marbella’s General Plan will legalise 16,000 homes

In three years, the new General Plan will legalise 16,000 homes.

According to an article published in SUR in English, José Fiscal, Minister of Environment and Urban Planning of Marbella, said that although the new General Plan (PGOU) will not be in force until at least three years, Marbella will adapt the 1986 (current) regulations to the new planning rules established in the Regional Planning Law of Andalucía (LOUA) within 12 months, and this will restore investor and individual buyer confidence in Marbella.

The city Mayor, José Bernal, explained that with the new adaptation to LOUA the illegal houses that were to be legalised in the now annulled plan will remain irregular but these will be legalised in the new plan.
