The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, founded in 1960 with more than 120 hotels and resorts to its name in 47 countries, is one of the most prestigious luxury hotel chains in the world. Spain has been chosen as the location for two new resorts, one in Madrid and one in Marbella.

The whole project represents an investment of close to €650 million, and promises to be the most luxurious, and the largest, project of its type in Andalucía.

Location and developers.

The site is a fully-zoned tract of land measuring some 300,000 m² located just east of the city centre, and to the west of the Torre Real neighbourhood. All roads and services are already installed, and the site is located on both sides of the road.

The developers are a consortium formed by Miami-based developers Fort Partners, the Belgian property development company Immobel and the Villa Padierna Group, led by Ricardo Arranz de Miguel.

The hotel will feature approximately 80 rooms and 40 suites, totalling 120 “keys”, Adjacent to the hotel will be a collection of privately-owned hotel residences, including around 130 private residences and 30 hotel-residences consisting of villas, town houses, and apartments divided almost evenly.

In addition to these, a further 170 branded residences comprising villas, apartments, and townhouses will form part of the development, and starting prices for these properties are yet to be established.

Four Seasons Marbella Pre-Sales Launch 2026 — First Deliveries 2028, Full Completion 2029.

A pre-sales campaign should be launching at the beginning of 2026, most likely with the possibility of pre-reservations, with the first building licenses anticipated to be issued towards the end of that year and finishing of their first phases towards the end of 2028. The total completion of the project is now expected towards the end of 2029. These are of course still preliminary estimations, since the last step in the planning procedure is not expected to be finished until the end of 2025.

Regarding recent news reports about squatters living in an abandoned building on a very small beachfront section of the plot, we have been assured that this issue will be resolved well before construction begins.
