The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, founded in 1960 with more than 120 hotels and resorts to its name in 47 countries, is one of the most prestigious luxury hotel chains in the world. Spain has been chosen as the location for two new resorts, one in Madrid and one in Marbella.
The whole project represents an investment of close to €700 million, and promises to be the most luxurious, and the largest, project of its type in Andalucía.
The site is a fully-zoned tract of land measuring some 320,000 m2 located just east of the city centre, and to the west of the Torre Real neighbourhood. All roads and services are already installed, and the site is located on both sides of the road.
The developers are a consortium formed by Miami-based developers Fort Partners, the Belgian property development company Immobel and the Villa Padierna Group, led by Ricardo Arranz de Miguel.
The hotel will feature approximately 80 rooms and 40 suites, totalling 120 “keys”.
Adjacent to the hotel will be a collection of privately owned hotel residences, including 136 private residences and 30 hotel residences consisting of villas, townhouses, and apartments, divided almost evenly. Two beach clubs will be built. Starting prices for these properties are yet to be established.
The developers are planning to launch a pre-sales campaign in the first half of 2027, with the possibility of accepting pre-reservations. The first building licences are expected to be issued towards the end of that year, with completion of the initial phases anticipated by the end of 2029. Full completion of the project is currently projected for 2031–2032.
