Christopher Clover: active member of the Rotary Club Marbella for 12 Years

For over a decade, Christopher Clover, Managing Director and Board Chairman of Panorama, embodied the Rotary Club motto of “Service Above Self”. Although he concluded his membership after twelve years, his dedication lives on in the many initiatives that continue to benefit Marbella residents.

The Rotary Club’s impact in Marbella

Rotary Club Marbella International is part of Rotary International, a global network of community leaders who unite to tackle pressing local needs.

In the Marbella area the club has:

  • Supported education through scholarship schemes and donations of books and school supplies to under‑resourced institutions
  • Combat food insecurity by organising regular food‑bank partnerships with shops and restaurants, ensuring vulnerable families receive fresh groceries regularly

  • Promoted health and wellbeing via annual health fairs offering free screenings, vaccinations and basic dental checks for residents without easy access to care
  • Fostered youth leadership by running model United Nations events and mentoring programmes for local secondary school pupils
  • Advanced environmental stewardship by coordinating coastal clean‑ups and tree‑planting days to preserve the Costa del Sol’s natural beauty

Christopher played an active role in supporting these projects, helping in particular to secure significant contributions for the charitable work.

Why this matters to Panorama’s clients

  • Community Insight: Christopher’s close work with the Rotary Club Marbella gave him an intimate understanding of Marbella’s social needs and the local organisations that address them
  • Demonstrated Values: Panorama’s own charitable endeavours mirror the club’s ethos, showing clients that the agency is committed not only to property but also to people.
  • Long‑Term Engagement:
Twelve years of sustained service demonstrate that Panorama’s leadership believes in giving back with consistency, not just occasional gestures.

Making a difference for over a century

For over 120 years, Rotary International has taken the spirit of professional friendship and turned it into world‑changing action. What began in a small Chicago office in 1905, as a gathering of four like‑minded professionals soon grew into a movement that builds schools in remote villages, brings clean water to drought‑hit communities and delivers sight‑restoring cataract surgeries across the globe.

Rotarians have mobilised millions of volunteers to eradicate polio, leaving just a handful of cases worldwide. They champion youth leadership through scholarship and mentorship programmes, saving lives with blood‑donation drives and disaster‑relief teams, and even planting millions of trees to protect our planet.

More than 1.4 million Rotarians in over 200 countries are transforming lives

From distributing life‑saving mosquito nets in malaria‑endemic regions to funding literacy initiatives that teach reading to hundreds of thousands, Rotary members prove that when neighbours unite in service, communities thrive. Today, more than 1.4 million Rotarians in over 200 countries continue to innovate, inspire and transform lives. One project, one handshake, one neighbourhood at a time.
