Starlite Marbella 2026: Your guide to Marbella’s summer music festival

A practical guide to Starlite Marbella 2026, from headline artists and key dates to dining, after-parties and the Starlite Gala.

Everything to know about Marbella’s biggest summer music festival, held in the open-air setting of the Cantera de Nagüeles.

What is Starlite Festival?

If you spend time in Marbella during the summer, you will probably end up talking about Starlite. It is one of the biggest events of the season, bringing live music, dinner, drinks and late-night parties together in one place.

Held at the Cantera de Nagüeles, also referred to as Auditorio Starlite, the venue feels tucked away but is only a short drive from the coast. It sits in the upper part of Marbella’s Golden Mile, in the Nagüeles area, near the Sierra Blanca urbanisation.

Some people go for one artist, while others plan a few nights around the programme, but the best way to enjoy Starlite is not to rush it. Book early, arrive with time for dinner or drinks before the concert, and stay afterwards for the Sessions area if you want to make a full night of it.

For 2026, Starlite Occident Marbella runs from 19 June to 29 August, with a lineup that includes Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5, John Legend, Diana Krall, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Deep Purple, Rick Astley, Jean-Michel Jarre, Juan Luis Guerra, Ozuna and Yandel Sinfónico, alongside many Spanish and Latin artists.

Now, with the 2026 lineup taking shape, Marbella is getting ready to do it all again.

Where is Starlite held?

The official address is C/ Albinoni, s/n, 29602 Marbella, Málaga, set inside a former quarry, the venue is surrounded by dramatic rock walls that give Starlite its distinctive open-air atmosphere and impressive acoustics. With an auditorium capacity of around 2,200 people, it feels far more intimate than a standard arena, even when major international artists are on stage.

Tickets & parking

There are different ticket options depending on the event, from standard auditorium tickets to VIP boxes and more premium experiences.

Starlite offers several parking options depending on your ticket. Parking Star can be booked in advance for €30, while general parking is available for €10. VIP Parking is included for Gold and Silver box tickets, with a private chauffeur to the red carpet, and Platinum Parking is available for Platinum box tickets, also with chauffeur service.

General parking is separate from the auditorium, with shuttle services taking guests up to the venue, so arriving earlier if you’re parking there is advised. Taxis and private drivers can usually drop guests close to the entrance, although at the end of the night visitors may need to take a shuttle down to the lower parking area for the taxi queue. As access details can change, check the official Starlite website before you go.

Dining at Starlite

Starlite has its own gastro area, with several restaurants inside the venue. This means you can have dinner, go straight to the concert and stay afterwards without needing to move between different places. The dining area opens from 8:00 pm.

Sandra’s Caviar Bar

Sandra’s Caviar Bar is the most polished of the options, with caviar, oysters, champagne and a more exclusive feel. It is the one to choose if you want the evening to feel especially elevated from the start.

Ánima

Ánima is the Mexican concept, designed for a more colourful, informal start to the night. It is a fun option for groups, especially if the plan is dinner, drinks and then the after-party.

Tanabata

Tanabata is the Nikkei option, combining Japanese and Peruvian influences. Think sushi, tiraditos and fresh, fusion-style dishes.

Temazo

Temazo is centred around fire, grill and Mediterranean cooking. It is the more classic choice for those who prefer grilled meats, vegetables and a lively, straightforward dinner before the show.

Raffaella

Raffaella brings an Italian trattoria feel to Starlite, with the kind of dishes that work well for a relaxed group dinner.

Events and parties around the concerts

On many nights, the evening continues after the headline performance with DJ sessions and parties inside the venue. This is especially popular in July and August, when Marbella is at its busiest and many people are looking for somewhere to continue the night without changing location.

There are also VIP areas, boxes and hospitality options for those who want a more private setup. These work well for groups, corporate hosting, celebrations or anyone who wants the evening to feel more organised.

The best approach is to check the details for the specific night you are attending. Some artists attract a more relaxed concert crowd, while others naturally lead into a bigger party atmosphere afterwards.

The Starlite Gala

The Starlite Gala is one of the most important charity events of Marbella’s summer season. Over the years, it has raised more than €3 million for charitable causes, supporting organisations including Lágrimas y Favores, Niños en Alegría and Cudeca.

Hosted by Antonio Banderas and Sandra García-Sanjuán, the gala brings together well-known names from culture, business, entertainment and society, with a focus on supporting and recognising charitable work. Starlite describes it as an annual event that rewards those who have made the causes of others their own.

For Marbella, the gala is part of what makes Starlite more than a music programme. It sits alongside the concerts, private dinners, summer parties and brand events that make July and August such a busy time socially.

Starlite MICE: private and corporate events at Starlite

MICE stands for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions/Events, and refers to Starlite Group’s tailor-made event service for companies, brands and private clients.

Beyond the public concert programme, Starlite MICE offers a complete turnkey service for private and corporate events, from concept, organisation and logistics to gastronomy, audiovisual production, talent booking, celebrity management and communication.

It means the same setting, hospitality and entertainment infrastructure that make Starlite so distinctive can also be used for corporate dinners, brand activations, private celebrations, launches and bespoke summer events.
