The 2026 circuit has already taken players to Aloha Golf Club, Río Real and Atalaya Golf & Country Club, before concluding at Higuerón Marbella Golf Resort on 12 September.
Unlike many of the professional tournaments later in the calendar, this is one golfers can actually play. Competition is divided across Scratch and Stableford categories, with entry currently priced between €100 and €130, including buggy.
For anyone familiar with Marbella’s golf scene, the circuit also offers a tour of some of the area’s best-known courses.

22–23 September 2026 | Parador de Málaga Golf

Later in September, the Spanish final of the World Corporate Golf Challenge comes to the Costa del Sol.
Teams qualifying through regional tournaments compete over two days at Parador de Málaga Golf, with the winners crowned Spanish champions and earning the opportunity to represent Spain at the World Final.
The format combines competitive golf with the event’s business and networking focus, making it one of the more distinctive events on the autumn calendar.

19–22 October 2026 | SO/ Sotogrande

October brings a different kind of golf event to the western Costa del Sol.
Hosted at SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort, the four-day Women’s International Golf, Networking & Leadership Event combines rounds of golf and PGA coaching with business and leadership sessions.
The 2026 programme includes broadcaster Clare Balding CBE as guest speaker and caters for both established players and women who are relatively new to the game.

12–15 November 2026 | Finca Cortesin, Casares

Finca Cortesin’s autumn tournament calendar culminates in the Finca Cortesin Cup, taking place from 12 to 15 November.
The competition is invitation-only, but its setting gives it particular significance. Finca Cortesin hosted the 2023 Solheim Cup, the first edition to be played in Spain, as well as the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2009, 2011 and 2012.
For golfers who would rather get onto the course themselves, the club also holds its Winter Event on 29 December, which is listed as open to all players.

26–29 November 2026 | La Cala Resort, Mijas

This is the headline professional tournament on the current Costa del Sol golf calendar.
The Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho takes place on La Cala Resort’s Campo Europa from 26 to 29 November, following an official Pro-Am on 24 and 25 November.
More importantly, it is the Grand Final of the 2026 Ladies European Tour, bringing some of Europe’s leading players to Mijas for the final tournament of the season.
The championship is open to spectators, with La Cala also planning hospitality, entertainment and activities around tournament week.
For anyone interested in watching professional golf, this is one of the biggest Costa del Sol golf tournaments of 2026.

30 November–5 December 2026 | La Cala Resort, Mijas
Professional golf is immediately followed by something for amateur players.
The La Cala Golf World Open returns for its 21st edition from 30 November to 5 December, taking competitors across La Cala’s three championship courses: Campo América, Campo Asia and Campo Europa.
The tournament is played principally as an individual Stableford competition and is open to amateur golfers holding a valid federation licence or recognised international handicap certificate.
With competitive rounds accompanied by dinners, prize-givings and social events, it is as much a golf week as a single tournament.

26–29 April 2027 | Los Naranjos Golf Club, Marbella

One of the first major Marbella golf tournaments confirmed for 2027 is the Los Naranjos Trophy.
The competition returns from 26 to 29 April at Los Naranjos Golf Club in Nueva Andalucía. The event attracts an international field for several days of golf and social events at one of Marbella’s best-known Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed courses.
Demand tells its own story. The 2027 tournament is already sold out, with a waiting list available months before play begins.
Further professional and amateur events for the second half of 2027 are still to be announced, and we will update this calendar as they are confirmed.

Golf can be played all year round on the Costa del Sol, although spring and autumn are generally the main seasons.
Around Marbella, average daytime highs sit at roughly 16–22°C from March to May and 18–26°C from September to November, making conditions particularly comfortable for a full round.
Autumn is especially popular. At Los Naranjos Golf Club, for example, the 2026 high season runs from 28 September to 15 November, with September classed as mid-season.
Winter remains very playable too, with average daytime highs of around 15–16°C from December to February and generally less demand than during the autumn peak.
With 19 golf courses in Marbella along a 26 km stretch of coast, and over 70 across the wider Costa del Sol

With more than 70 golf courses, the Costa del Sol has earned its nickname, the Costa del Golf. Nueva Andalucía’s famous Golf Valley is home to Aloha Golf Club, Los Naranjos and Real Club de Golf Las Brisas, all close to some of Marbella’s most established residential areas.

The story of how Nueva Andalucía and Golf Valley developed is closely tied to the creation of Puerto Banús.
Further east, Río Real, Santa Clara and Cabopino add more choice, while Benahavís, Estepona and Casares extend the golfing landscape along the coast.
Golf is only one factor to consider when comparing the best places to live on the Costa del Sol.
This concentration of courses makes golf a natural part of everyday life, whether living in a villa overlooking the fairways or an apartment close to the clubhouse.
For some homeowners, frontline-golf living in Marbella brings the course quite literally to the doorstep.
